The DICT8 Blackberry app

There are various ways that you can send us work:
- Handheld dictation machines such as the Olympus DS5000 (there are now even ones that have fingerprint scanners on them). Please note that we can also work with others.
- Tethered voice recorders, which are permanently attached to your computer such as the Olympus DR2000.
- Straight from your Blackberry using the DICT8 Blackberry app.
The DICT8 Blackberry app allows you to use your Blackberry as a digital dictation machine, which not only eliminates hardware costs for your organisation, but also enables your clinicians to be truly mobile. This would be of particular interest to community based teams.
The app has been built in such as way as to replicate the functionality of a normal pocket dictation machine. The volume buttons on the side of the Blackberry can be used to control the recorder in much the same way as the side buttons on a dictation machine does. For more information please contact DICT8.
